Nerovivo I am usually wary of new restaurants opening in KL as we all know that we aren’t short of quality dining options in Malaysia! However, on the recommendations of a few friends I decided to check out Nerovivo on Bukit Ceylon and I was far from disappointed! Nerovivo is run by the affable and charismatic duo Paolo Guiati and Dino Pozzato whose previous restaurants in different parts of the world have always proven successful.
Their take on the dining experience is different in that they perfectly combine a fine dining atmosphere with friendly service, unpretentious food and excellent prices, resulting in food that their Italian chef says ‘breathes new life into classic regional recepies.’ On this point he is not wrong, as the Lasagna that I tried was honestly the best that I have had outside of Italy. All the other dishes were similarly excellent – fresh salads and starters, excellent fresh pastas with traditional sauces and a perfect and unfussy assortment of meat and fish dishes.
What I found most enjoyable about the Nerovivo experience was that although you are sitting in a chic and stylish environment, you feel totally relaxed and contented - a feeling that is alien in some fine dining restaurants. As well as outstanding and excellent value food, for those of us who enjoy a relaxed drink or two before we dine, Nerovivo also offers an al fresco aperitivo bar set in a lovely terrace that makes it easy to forget that you are in the Golden Triangle. For a great lunch or night out I strongly recommend Nerovivo – Ciao for now!
